He was born on 1st December 1953 in Prague. He attended Secondary technical school of Graphic in Prague at famous professor Bohuslav Blažej (1969-1973) and at professor Jiří Veškrna at Secondary vocational school of Art (1987-1989). He worked in print house, he was a promotion designer and an art redactor in redaction of newspaper and journals. He co-operated with the major dailies, journals and publishing houses. He is specialized in bookish graphic, graphic design, illustrations. In free design he uses figure and landscape themes, in pictorial works appears even still life. He won several awards for his artworks in sphere of free design and ex-libris. An award essay is dedicated to him in the second part of Portugal Contemporary International ex-libris artist. His work is represented in collection of Museum of card games in Issy-les-Mouleneaux in France, Frederikshavn Kunstmuseum & Exlibrissamling Denmark, Museum Malbork in Poland, Ex-libris Wereld in the Netherlands, Trakaiskeho historical museum in Lithuania, Museum Ex-libris in Sint-Niklaas in Belgium, the Monument of national literature in Prague, cultural house in Guadelupe Mexico, Gallery of the city of Bratislava, etc.
